Pace-Eligible Student Outreach Coordinator 

This position oversees the social media, program coordinating, website, and blog of the Women’s Center. If interested for this position you must apply through the PACE website.

Graphic Designer

The Women’s Center and Survivor Advocacy Program are looking for a graphic designer to help design flyers, pamphlets, gear and products for May/June 2012.

Graduate Assistant 

A graduate assistantship at the Women’s Center will provide students with practical and theoretical knowledge of the implementation and administration of women’s services, advocacy and programming. We are looking for a graduate student with a background in Women’s and Gender studies, feminism, a related field, or a demonstrated interest in working with women students in the context of higher education. Applicants should be creative and independent, have the ability to take a project and run with it, but also work well as part of a team. Excellent verbal, written and virtual communication skills are required.

The Assistantship is for 20 hours per week, with some occasional evening and weekend hours. This is a 2 semester ($9,999) stipend, no tuition waver.

Primary duties of this position include:

-Oversight of the Women’s Center Mentoring Program                                                        -Develop graduate student and international student outreach                                           -Assist Director with day-to-day operations and long-term planning (meeting minutes, library research, benchmarking, etc.)                                                                                         -Assist Program Coordinator with student worker and volunteer supervision                    -Assist in directing and managing undergraduate work flow as assigned
