Meet the Staff: Lynnette Henderson

Junior Lynnette Henderson is an OUSAP Peer Advocate Leader.

Ohio University Survivor Advocacy Program Peer Advocate Leader Lynnette Henderson is a junior studying middle childhood math and social studies education with a minor in African American studies.

Lynnette started working for OUSAP in October 2010 and enjoys the difference she is able to make at OU as a member. “I love that I am able to give back and help those around me,” she said.

Lynnette is an involved member of the OU community, serving as treasurer of the Ohio University Recruiting Society and cultural arts director of the Black Student Cultural Programming Board. She is also a member of the NAACP, the Collegiate Middle Level Association and Collegiate Association of Social Studies Teachers.

In her free time, Lynnette enjoys reading, writing, singing, dancing and exploring new places.
