Meet the Staff: Jonathan Steele

Jonathan Steele, a freshman studying communications, joined the Women’s Center staff this quarter as a member of the Survivor Advocacy Program (OUSAP).

Jonathan works with OUSAP as an outreach coordinator, and said he enjoys attending student group meetings where he can  introduce students to the program and promote OUSAP’s services. He also said he enjoys working for the Women’s Center because of its diverse staff and welcoming environment. “I’m accepted despite the fact that I’m a guy,” he said.

Jonathan is particularly interested in radio communications, as well as other media studies and English. Jonathan works as music director for an online radio station, – Hits Now! He also expresses his love for music by serving as the resident DJ at a teen club in his hometown every weekend.
