Meet the Staff: Peer Advocate Sharnisha Brazzell

Sharnisha Brazzell is a freshman at Ohio University studying engineering. She began working at the Women’s Center last fall through the OU Survivor Advocacy Program (OU SAP), and is now a student peer advocate leader.

Sharnisha said she is very interested in engineering as well as criminology, and likes watching crime shows such as CSI, Law & Order and Criminal Minds. She also said she plans to add an African American studies or math minor in the future.

Sharnisha said she enjoys her job with OU SAP and is realling looking forward to future programming.

“I love working with others, and I think that working with the Women’s Center and being a part of the Ohio University Survivor Advocacy Program has made me feel like a family with my co-workers and taught me that teamwork is everything,” she said.
